Retelling a Story

Greetings,

We are learning to retell a story.  We start by naming the characters and the setting. Then we try and recall the events that took place at the beginning of the story, and the main events after. We finish with how the story ends. Here is a great you tube video that we have enjoyed listening to that reviews these steps. When you are finished reading a story at home have your child practice retelling their story with you.
