Short Vowels

We are doing a great job reviewing our short vowel sounds.  I have had requests to post one of our favourite videos.

I am impressed with the lists of short vowel words that students generate each week and will continue to copy them out and put them in our red "Take Home Reading" duotangs. Please review these lists often so your child can quickly distinguish between the beginning sound, the onset and the ending sound, the rhime, for each list.

Starfall.com also has some great resources to reinforce the short vowels.
