Brianna chose to do her presentation on her new dog Lexy. She shared with us some of the things she is doing to train Lexy. Lexy is still learning that she should not jump and scratch Brianna. Brianna has to use a firm voice and remind Lexy of that. Brianna also told us that she cannot let Lexy go upstairs or she will chew on things that she shouldn't. It is important to shut doors and gates so puppies do not go into places where they will get into trouble. We had lots of students in the classroom who had similar stories to share about their pets too. We all agreed that having a pet is a lot of work and a lot of responsibility.
