Raz Kids

Greetings,

The students came to school today very excited to share their experiences with our new online reading program, Raz Kids, last night.  This program will be available to your child for the remainder of the school year.  I have taped the login information on the inside cover of your child`s agenda.  I am hoping that each student has been placed in a book room where they can read the text with few errors as these books are meant to be read independently by your child.  Please let me know if you should have any issues with the program.  We will also be using the program at school during our independent reading time as well. 

Raz-Kids is Mobile!

If you have a subscription to Raz-Kids, students can access the "On Your Own" area right from an iPad or Android device. They will find hundreds of books in both Listen and Read modes, along with quizzes to check for comprehension. All students' mobile activity is recorded in their Raz-Kids student activity reports.

This program is not meant to replace books.  It is still very important for your child to experience reading with a book.  A computer will never be able to replace the quality time you spend reading a book together with your child.
