In Science we are doing a unit on Living Things. Today Ella did her presentation on a living thing, the Peacock. She drew a beautiful diagram that showed us the difference between the male peacock and the female peacock. Did you know that it is actually the male peacock that has the beautiful feathers? Afterwards we watched a you tube video that showed a male peacock proudly displaying his feathers to the people watching. Ella saw some peacocks when she went on a trip to Greenview Aviaries in Morpeth. Lots of friends in our classroom had been there before as well.
